About Me

I’m Sam, hi! Nice to meet you.
I grew up playing sports but was never the leanest of kids. I always had a little bit of ‘puppy fat’ and then in my late teens & early 20’s, that puppy fat turned into a fairly substantial spare tire.

When I was about 25, after struggling to fit into a pair of 36″ waist trousers, (I’m only 5’10” so a 36″+ waist isn’t a good look), I decided I’d better do something about it.

To start with, I did loads of stuff wrong. I’d totally cut out certain foods & food groups. I’d avoid social occasions & meals out so I didn’t have to eat any ‘bad’ foods’. I just made things a lot harder than I needed to.

But over the last 5 years or so, I’ve spent a lot of time educating myself; reading, listening to podcasts and more recently, completed the SBS Academy.

I’ve made some great progress in my own physique over those years, which has given me a whole lot more self confidence. It’s also improved my health & feelings of well being; which are really important, even if all we care about to start with is looking better naked 😉

A big passion of mine is to help people transform their own body and as a knock on effect, change their whole life! I want to help them feel more confident in themselves, improve their quality of life & help them look better naked.

As well as working on a one to one basis with people, I also want to share some of the things I’ve learned through my writing, to help people live healthier, happier & enjoyable lives.

When I’m not helping people on their body transformation journey, I enjoy cycling, walking, listening to music, watching TV box sets & films.

I also enjoy writing. Mostly about fitness & nutrition but occasionally I’ll ramble on about other topics.
